Andrew Lopez playing Music

I started playing drums when I was ten. Piano came next, and eventually jazz spending years at the Conservatory in Mexico City.

Music was never a hobby.
It was how I understood the world.

After the Conservatory, I moved to Toronto (Canada) to study design at OCAD U. I thought I was changing paths. I wasn't.

Design became another way to translate feeling into something others could experience.

Since then, I've collaborated with artists, labels, and events across the industry - Capella Records, Shay de Castro, D3FAI, Julian Tonic, Ultra Europe.

Every project brought me closer to the music world, helping artists connect with their audiences not just through sound, but through everything they're seen by.

Today, I create at the intersection of both worlds translating sound into something you can see and feel.

Philosophy

01

Connection before creation.

Before I design, I want to know who you are. Your music, your story, the soul behind the project.

That understanding shapes everything. I treat every project like a conversation getting to know you, your influences, your goals, what you love and what you don't. The deeper I understand, the more intentional the work becomes.

02

Designing
with intention.

I search for the emotions, the metaphors, the energy behind your work. Then I translate it into something visual and purposeful.

My background in music shapes how I approach design. I don't just see, I listen. I look for the feelings, the themes, the moments that can translate into something your audience can experience before they press play.

03

We create together.

The best work comes from two perspectives at the table. I bring my expertise, you bring your vision, together we create something neither could alone.

I see every project as a collaboration between creatives, where both sides are free to explore, propose, and push the work further. That's how we make something truly unique.

04

Your work, extended.

A cover isn't decoration. It's an extension of you as personal, and vulnerable as the music itself.

Your visuals are often the first thing people experience. They should reflect who you are, not just look good, but feel true. I design with that responsibility in mind.
